We Have Many Years of Experience in the Field

Pegasus cruises company is a well established, friendly, family run company whose headquarters are in Tolo and offers leisure one day cruises to the traditional Saronic islands, such as Hydra, Spetses, Poros, Aigina, Agistri and Corinth Canal.
Three brothers started the company in 1967 with a wooden caique-style boat, the MANTALENA, with capacity of approx. 50 passengers. The programme differed from one day to another, with picnics & barbeques, swimming and cruises to Hydra & Spetses. This is how the tradition of the one-day cruise started in the area of Argolida.

In 1976 a wonderful wooden ship was built in Tolo by local boat-builders and the help of the three brothers themselves. This was PEGASUS, which quickly grew popular and renowned throughout the area. In 1979 the M/V HERMES was purchased. It was a fibre-glass boat which could cruise at 26 knots and so, the longer cruises to Poros & Monemvasia were added to the programme.
The spacious & elegant new M/V MANTALENA, 45 meters long with availability up to 500 persons, was built to replace HERMES and to continue to offer luxury and comfortable cruises.

In 1997 the ALKYONIS, 40 meters long and with availability of 300 persons was united with the other ships of our company aiming to the tourists’ needs of luxurious and relaxed one day cruises. The company’s main office is in Tolo, near Nafplion. We operate from April until October every year.
Besides our cruises to the islands of Argosaronikos, the ships are available for a variety of small cruises with a meal on board or even evening cruises. The ships can be chartered by groups, for parties, receptions and celebrations.

How do I get to Tolo?

The easiest way to get to Tolo is from Nafplion by bus or taxi. The distance is only 12 kilometers.

From Athens: by car or bus. If you choose to travel by car follow the Athens-Patras highway and after Corinth turn left at the exit towards Tripoli. Then continue on Corinth-Tripoli highway and turn at the exit for Argos. Pass through Argos, reach Nafplion and continue to Tolo. Nafplion is 148 kilometers from Athens (approx. 1 hour 30 minutes)

Buses from Athens depart for Nafplion daily approx. every hour.

Are animals allowed on board?

Yes, they are, but please contact us first at 2752059430 or This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and only if our 4-legged friend is on a leash. Animals are allowed at the open spaces of the ship, not in the closed lounges.

What must I have with me?

You must have your ticket or reservation voucher. Optionally, you might want to have a hat, sunscreen, bathing suit and beach towel. If you have children with you, it’s proven convenient to have some kind of boarding game for them to play while on board, as well as some snacks for breakfast.

Are the seats predefined?

No, you may sit wherever you want. You can choose between the air-conditioned lounges, the outside covered decks or the top open deck which offers the opportunity even for a sunbathe!

Is there a car park near the port?

Yes, there is a quite spacious car park right above the port of Tolo which is free of charge. You might face a small problem finding a free space in August, so it’s best that you arrive at the port quite early.

Is there always availability on the cruises? Can I appear at the port in the morning and board the ship?

Usually there is availability, somedays though (like 1st of May, greek bank holidays, 15th of August) or if there is a reservation from a large group, the ship might be full. Do you offer pick up service from the hotels?

We don’t offer transportation from/to the hotels of Tolo, most of them are quite close to the port, all it takes is a 5-10 minute walk to reach the ship. If you’re staying further away, you can come to the port in your car and park it at the free car park just above the port. If you are coming from Nafplion, you can catch our coach which departs at 8 o’clock from various stops in Nafplion – all you have to do is ask for this transportation from the tourist agent where you issue your ticket.

I forgot something on board. How can I get it back?

All personal belongings are the responsibility of each passenger. We’ll do our best to find the forgotten object and return it to you, without though being responsible if this item can’t be found. If we need to send it to you by taxi or courier, there might be an extra charge, something we’ll discuss with you before sending.

I have a mobility difficulty. Can I join the cruise?

Of course. Pegasus Cruises ships are accessible and adjustable to people with mobility difficulties. (the main deck, not the 2 above that). When you make your reservation please inform us and we’ll see to it that you have a smooth access on board using a special ramp.

Is there food on board?

There is a snack bar on board that offers variety of coffees, soft drinks and other beverages as well as snacks such as crackers, chips, biscuits and croissants at reasonable prices. If you wish to have a sandwich with you or some kind of snack to eat on the way, there is no problem on our part.
